Talking from the treestand

With me being in the woods a lot I felt we needed a place where hunters could write from their phones and talk about what they are seeing. I’m not sure how many articles I will be putting up this week since I will be in the woods most the time. Keep an eye out here so you can keep up with what’s going on and I will be posting here from my treestand when I can.

Well here's an update there are tons of squirrels acorns a falling and the mosquitos are eating me alive. its a. muggy day today there was a little fog up on top and I can still see fog down in the bottoms so its going to slow the deer down and keep them feeding longer. I can hear thunder off in the distance and there is a slight breeze

Well the rain started and stayed for about an hour the mosquitos left when the rain moved in back there back now. a heavy fog has moved in and the wind has stuck around so hopefully the deer will be coming through soon

Well I'm watching a buck at 100 plus yards away that isbedded down all I can see is his antlers. the wind is shifting and swirling the sun is covered by clouds lets hope he works his way towards me when he gets up. I'm in my climbing treestand so Getting down may be noisy

Well the day got real interesting when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and it was 100 plus yards away. it was a monster buck and he bedded down I was able to watch him for a long time and get a good look at his rack.he was a main frame 12 his eye guards made his ears look small each antler stuck out from his head two ears lengths his G2"s were at least 12 inches and the G3's were longer. his 2"s and 3's were bladed the entire rack was white like ivery. his hair was grey the forestry department came and started cutting down trees and he walked away
I'm going to call him ghosts and all my effort will be on tagging him this year
