This is Tom's 8 point he shot him on November 14th at 4:50pm with a 243 Remington (his wifes rifle) at 70 yards. Great buck Tom Congratulations looks like a great shot on a great buck.

Hillbilly with his opening morning 8 point shot with a Browning BLR 7mm-08 140 grain core lokt at 58 yards on public land. The shot placement was perfect heart and lung he ran 50 yards and the blood trail was amazing and easy to follow.
This buck was hit by a car here in Missouri. He was found 8 miles from a friend of Hillbilly Huntin’s camp. It is a sad day when we find a buck that would look great on the wall dead by either a car or poachers or even a bad shot.

Found this skull on Friday October 12, 2012 it was down in the bottom of a draw and was a complete skeleton. Perfect 8-point with a very nice rack. Saw his dad when I was walking out but had no shot bummer. I plan on heading back soon and trying to call him in.
