Its opening day you’re sitting in a ground blind on public property. This buck is standing 75 yards away from you with a 5 mile per hour crosswind from left to right. Do you SHOOT or PASS? Where would you aim?

With a weapon quite capable of small groups at 100 yards, a neck shot just below the ears and slightly to the left of the jaw would do just fine.

Shoot, just behind the jaw. 1 shot, 1 kill, no searching for the deer after the shot!

I agree with Rick. If you know that you are capable of controlling the buck fever and you have been shooting moa groups consistantly, drop him!

Thank you all for your thoughts it’s great to hear everyone individual thoughts on specific situations and what they would do. Does everyone want me to continue with this shoot or pass page? Are you enjoying it?
