This is a nice buck he is a 4x4 with the beginning of a drop tine on his left antler. He has decent mass but not great and his face has some cuts. Let’s hear what you have to say is this a shooter or do you let him grow another year?

I believe that is a three year old with a lot of attitude. I would want to let him walk so he can grow some major inches in the next year. Of course, most hunters would be calling this a monster twelve and slinging lead all around him.

He is a nice buck and I agree he must have a lot of attitude I would love to take him next year or even a year after that. But if he has the biggest attitude and is the more dominate buck he could be running a bigger more passive buck off your property and away from where you are hunting. Letting him become more mature could do more damage to your heard by letting him keep the more mature and bigger bucks ran off. It’s a catch twenty two do you let him grow or do you take him out hoping you keep the bigger buck around? It would really be hard to make that call unless you witness him running off the bigger bucks on your hunting ground. Let’s hear what you think?
